I'm Chimita, 23, Buryat-Mongolian founder of Khiimori World.
I grew up between Ulan-Ude and a village 700 kilometers off-road, studied business in Taiwan, ended up in the Netherlands with everything I was supposed to want, and felt completely empty. No self-help book, no wellness retreat, no big trip could name what was wrong. My culture named it. Khiimori, the wind horse, the vital force inside you that rises and falls and can be brought back.
A shaman told me in winter 2025 I would do something with my hands about Buryat and Mongolian culture. Before any of this existed. Then the content went viral, the DMs asking for Mongolia tour recommendations kept coming, and I had nothing honest to recommend. So I built something I could.
Khiimori World is a shop, a journey, and a retreat, built to wake up your inner khiimori while actually helping the local artisans, nomadic families, and culture keepers who make it real.
